What a Space Contains
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tasks | Shows work across the space and its projects |
| Views | Opens saved or alternate task views for the space |
| Docs | Shows pages that belong directly to the space |
| Projects | Lists focused projects inside the space |
Spaces and Projects
Spaces sit above projects. A space can hold its own tasks and pages, and it can also contain child projects for narrower goals.
| Level | Best for |
|---|---|
| Space | A broad work area that may contain many projects |
| Project | A focused initiative, milestone, or deliverable inside a space |
For example, an Engineering space might contain projects like API Redesign, Mobile Parity, and Billing Cleanup.
Pages in Spaces
Use the Docs tab in a space for pages that apply to the whole space, such as team notes, planning documents, decision logs, or reference material.
