Notifications
Notifications keep you informed about reminders and workspace activity through the in-app notification list and the channels you enable.
Notification Types
Moly sends notifications for these events:

| Task assigned | Someone assigns a task to you |
| Task commented | Someone comments on a task assigned to you or watched by you |
| Task mentioned | Someone mentions you in a task comment |
| Task status changed | A task you watch changes status |
| Task deleted | A task assigned to you is deleted |
| Page mentioned | Someone mentions you in page content or a page comment |
| Page commented | Someone comments on a page in a project you can access |
| Reminder due | A scheduled reminder fires |
In Personal workspaces, Moly hides event rows that require multiple people, such as assignment, mentions, comments, and status-change notifications.
Notification Channels
In-App Notifications
Browse notifications in the Notifications page. Desktop shows a split panel (list + details); mobile opens details in a sheet.
Email Notifications
Email notifications are controlled per event in notification settings. Emails are queued in the background when the event's Email channel is enabled.
Each email uses a matching template with the relevant task, page, reminder, or digest details.
Push Notifications
Push notifications are controlled per event. Browser push requires push registration in the current browser; mobile push depends on registered device tokens.
Notification Settings
Use Settings → Notifications to choose Email, Push, and Digest routing for each event type. Digest settings control scheduled summary emails.
In-app notifications use the master toggle in Settings → Preferences.
Managing Notifications
Notification Center
The notification center lets you review unread items, mark them as read, and open the related task, page, reminder, or other target when a link is available.
Best Practices
Use reminders for work that must surface at the right time.
Keep unread items from becoming stale.
Reduce noise by choosing which events need Email, Push, or Digest.
Choose digest delivery when you prefer scheduled summaries over individual emails.
